Packing My Life
Sometimes we craft Instagram too look like the life we want to have filled with travel, friends, and fun times. It’s not always the well-crafted picture you see. Right now my entire apartment is in shambles because I move in 48 hours and I have to get all 760 square feet packed up while also working and maintaining a semblance of a social life. These are my favorite packing tips to make your next move a little less stressful!
Break down large boxes from online orders and save them. This way you have several on hand and aren’t wasting $100 on packing supplies a few days before the big move. I store mine in my patio closet so that I can forget about them until I start packing!
Use clothing, blankets, sheets, and towels to protect fragile belongings. This helps out the environment just a little bit, and your stuff doesn’t take up as much space so there is less to move!
Label every box that you pack, I always put one label on the side and one on top so I don’t have to dig around to find the boxes label. Use red for boxes that need to be put away ASAP and black for ones that can sit just a little bit longer.
Hopefully this helps make your move to a new city, college dorm, or your fun college house that much less stressful! Leave me your best movie hacks down below in the comments!
